ZOETIS DERMATOLOGY
The Challenge
Create a video that gets hundreds of rookie and tenured sales representatives excited about the new Zoetis Dermatology campaign, and inspire them to show off the new portfolio of materials to veterinarians across the country.
Presented at the National Sales Marketing Conference in February 2023 to hundreds in attendance, this video was created to inspire Zoetis sales reps to get out in the field and show off the new campaign and portfolio of materials our agency developed.
Zoetis has always been the leader in canine dermatology, and their two best-selling products Apoquel and Cytopoint have brought relief to pets and owners alike for decades. However, COVID-19 hit veterinarians hard—the hundreds of thousands of new pets adopted resulted in longer workdays and shorter in-person vet visits, leaving them less time to accurately diagnose and prescribe therapeutic solutions. The quick-hitting, easy-to-use materials were designed to answer veterinarians’ silent call, and help them diagnose, prescribe, and heal dogs across the country.

The Fun Part
From conception to production, this project was a blast. With a few Snoop Dogg-themed scripts eliciting chuckles from our client, we eventually landed on a “best of pups” approach, putting together clips of favorite dogs in pop culture and overlaying an upbeat voiceover with to show off our new campaign’s flair.
Operating on a limited budget under tight time constraints, it was the sole job of the copy and design team to find the music, video clips, and VO artist (I got to do the voiceover for all of our rough cuts… let’s just say, if copywriting doesn’t work out, I might have found my calling). From beginning to end, this project was a true opportunity to make something all our own.
